Classification of bar code technology in anti-counterfeiting
bar code is a kind of code of commodities, which is designed to facilitate the effective management of commodity circulation by computers. If barcode technology is reasonably used in commodity packaging, including reasonable selection of barcode carrier, reasonable selection of printing method and equipment, reasonable selection of barcode printing position, etc., barcode can play an anti-counterfeiting role while playing the function of commodity management. At present, it is generally believed that there are three kinds of bar codes with anti-counterfeiting function, namely invisible bar code, matrix code and metal bar code
invisible bar code
in the late 1940s, IBM began to carry out bar code research when doing tensile experiments. The first code used was concentric circle (ox eye) code, which was printed on commodity packaging. By the 1970s, it was gradually improved to black-and-white bar codes, and the bar code scanning technology was also continuously improved. It was recognized by the international organization for Standardization (1So) and began to be used in commodity packaging
in order to improve the security of commodities, some bar codes with anti-counterfeiting function have been successively used in products that need anti-counterfeiting, such as covered invisible bar codes and photochemical invisible bar codes. Invisible barcode printed with invisible ink, in which the barcode printed with colorless fluorescent anti-counterfeiting ink can only show the fluorescent graphic code under ultraviolet irradiation; The far-infrared fluorescent bar code can be read with a special pen
two dimensional bar code is a high-capacity bar code developed on the basis of ordinary bar code. It is mostly used in the security and anti-counterfeiting of cards. It can store the holder's photos, personal information (blood type, fingerprint, eye film image), passwords, etc. The PDF417 QR code launched in 1990 can be encoded with 1848 letters or 2739 numeric characters or mixed characters, with higher density. High capacity, reliable decoding, strong error correction ability, good security performance and so on
because the general two-dimensional bar code is very easy to copy, the American intermlc company developed a paper invisible bar code and monopolized the technology. In 1996, China's bar code research institute also developed a paper invisible bar code system. The hidden medium used in this bar code is integrated with the paper after special photochemical treatment, which cannot be stripped and can only be used once. This kind of bar code cannot be recognized by human eyes, nor can it be photographed with visible light. Only a scanner can be used to read the information in the bar code with rays of a certain wavelength
matrix code
matrix code is also a two-dimensional bar code. It is a two-dimensional arrangement of black and white small square graphics to store graphic information. This matrix code, also known as ID matrix code, can generally input 2000 text or digital information. The maximum password matrix can reach 14 square inches, and the minimum is 0.001 square inches. There are two forms of matrix codes:
(1) vericode. It was invented by veritec company of the United States and applied for a U.S. patent in 1987. In addition to the black square frame, each square in this code belongs to a matrix element. The value of black square element is 1, and the value of blank square element is 0. The square outside the frame is used for orientation, and each square inside the frame is used for the compilation of matrix element data. Its characteristic is that the coding capacity is very large, focusing on the security and anti-counterfeiting of information
(2) data matrix code. Different from vericode, the four sides of the code frame are two black and two white, that is, with the diagonal of the square as the boundary, half (two sides) are all black and the other half are all white. This code focuses on information storage. When the matrix code is read, the graphics of the code need to be input into the computer through the CCD camera, and the stored information will be displayed on the computer after the graphics recognition processing. This code has been widely used on various tickets or commodity packages
metal bar code
thin film metal bar code is composed of special metal sheet with thickness of 0.05mm and base material. It is a kind of metal bar code developed by China. The metal bar code is small in quality, flexible and similar to the paper printed bar code, and its toughness and mechanical strength are much higher than the paper printed bar code, and it is resistant to high, low temperature and acid. Alkali. Salt corrosion, free from magnetic field interference, with long-term readability, is the only film type metal bar code that can be used outdoors at present. Its performance characteristics are as follows:
1. High information storage density. The text and digital information density of thin film metal bar code is much higher than that of ordinary metal bar code. Its waste will not pollute the environment. The width of the narrow metal bar is only 0.2mm, which is much narrower than the width of Japan's electromagnetic scanning metal bar code
2. Strong reading compatibility. Thin film metal bar code reading equipment can be compatible with general bar code reading equipment (such as laser gun, CCD, slot scanner); Using a high-power laser gun scanner, the film type metal bar code can be optically scanned and read for a long distance (more than 5m)
3. Wide application range. The film type metal bar code is resistant to high and low temperature (-40 ℃ ~ 180 ℃), resistant to sunlight, wind and rain, resistant to chemical corrosion, wear-resistant, flexible and easy to paste on all kinds of objects and commodities. On the card
4. Strong anti-counterfeiting performance. The manufacturing technology of thin-film metal bar code is a monopoly patented technology, which is difficult to copy. Using metal bar code can not only realize all the management functions of ordinary bar code, but also meet the confidentiality requirements and achieve the purpose of anti-counterfeiting, so as to closely combine the logistics management with the anti-counterfeiting function of products
due to the striking characteristics of metal bar code, it can realize the identification management of mechanical, electronic and chemical products; It can dynamically manage the moving motor vehicles, such as the arrival of cars and the formation of trains. Ship container charges, violation record management, etc; In addition, long-distance barcode reading can also be carried out for toxic, inflammable and explosive goods and three-dimensional warehouses with long service life, harsh environment and inaccessibility, so as to realize high-end products and international management of the market. In the management of military products, metal bar codes are also widely used. For example, in the Gulf War, the U.S. military purchased metal bar codes from Japan for weapons and bombs. In industry, more and more widely, anodic oxidation method is adopted to form a thick and dense oxide film on the surface of aluminum. Vehicle management, and can be posted on soldiers' uniforms for personal information (name, blood type) and other management
